Cody Rhodes will return to the Olimpic Arena at WWE SmackDown

The next May 29, the Olimpic Arena in Badalona will once again become the epicenter of international professional wrestling with a new televised episode of WWE SmackDown. The American company thus returns to the city after the success achieved last year, in a historic event that marked the first WWE television broadcast from Spain via Netflix.

The event will bring together some of the biggest current WWE stars, including Cody Rhodes, known worldwide as The American Nightmare. Rhodes is currently the Undisputed WWE Champion and one of the most popular figures in modern professional wrestling.

Son of the legendary wrestler Dusty Rhodes, Cody Rhodes has built a career defined by charisma and his ability to reinvent himself inside the ring. After leaving WWE in 2016, he became a key figure in the rise of the independent wrestling scene and was one of the founders of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), before making a triumphant return to WWE in 2022.

His WrestleMania victory and championship win firmly cemented his status as one of the company’s top stars. Now, Badalona will once again have the opportunity to experience live one of the biggest names in international sports entertainment.
