The BCL Final Four will take place at Badalona’s Olimpic Arena

From May 7 to 9, 2026, Badalona will become the epicenter of European basketball: the Olimpic Arena will host the Final Four of the Basketball Champions League. A city that breathes basketball and lives every game with intensity, Badalona is the perfect place for one of the most anticipated events of the season.

The Olimpic Arena, also known as the Badalona Olympic Pavilion or Palau Municipal d’Esports de Badalona, has a history deeply connected to international basketball. Built for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, it was the main venue for the basketball competition throughout the Olympic tournament and hosted games that marked an era, including those of the legendary Dream Team from the United States, featuring NBA stars such as Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird.

Inaugurated in 1991 and designed by architects Esteve Bonell and Francesc Rius, the arena was awarded the Mies van der Rohe Contemporary Architecture Award in 1992 for its innovative design and the cultural significance of the venue.

Since then, the Olimpic Arena has not only witnessed major international matches for over three decades but is also the home of Club Joventut de Badalona, one of the historic clubs in Spanish basketball, and an iconic space for the local fans.

Excitement for the Final Four is already building: the official event trailer is now available right here for you to enjoy, and very soon more information will be released about tickets, activities, and surprises around the competition.

Don’t miss the chance to experience the magic of basketball in one of its most emblematic cities. Badalona is waiting for you from May 7 to 9, 2026!
