Evanescence in Badalona: the melodic metal that defined an era
Evanescence arrives in Badalona to reconnect with those who grew up with their unmistakable voice, among posters, folders, and MP3 playlists. The band led by Amy Lee has confirmed that their new world tour will stop at the Olimpic Arena de Badalona in the fall of 2026, in one of only two concerts scheduled in Spain. A date marked in red for those who have spent two decades waiting to relive that first thrill brought by “Bring Me to Life,” “My Immortal,” and more.
They won’t come alone. Poppy and Nova Twins will be part of an evening that promises to merge generations of alternative metal on a single stage. The alliance with Poppy comes after the release of “End of You,” where Amy Lee shared the spotlight with the artist and Courtney LaPlante. A natural bridge between the dark, symphonic sound of the Americans and the new wave of experimental metal that captivates younger fans.

The announcement comes while they are in the midst of recording their next album, the sixth in their career, scheduled for 2026. While details remain under wraps, the band has continued to make its mark with soundtrack collaborations such as Ballerina, with “Fight Like a Girl,” and Devil May Cry, with the song “Afterlife.”
The last chance to see them in Spain was in 2024, at the Alma Festival and later at Rock in Rio Lisbon. Two unforgettable nights that confirmed what was obvious: Evanescence continue to be a refuge, a memory, and a catharsis. Badalona awaits you.
