The Offspring, the globally renowned punk rock band that has sold the most albums in history, a true emblem of American punk rock, is back. If last Friday they released their long-awaited new album “Supercharged,” today they announce their world tour, which will make two important stops in our country.

The band, led by Dexter Holland and Noodles, has shown with their recent festival tour that they haven’t been in such good shape in many years. Their performance at Resurrection Fest 2024 was one of the most significant highlights of last year’s festival. The Offspring live is synonymous with “hit after hit.” Over the past four decades, the band has collected dozens upon dozens of anthems that are part of punk rock history. It’s no coincidence that they are the punk band that has sold the most albums in history, or that their acclaimed “Smash” is the best-selling album released by an independent label in music history (Epitaph Records, 1994).

Joining them will be another of the greatest bands in pop punk history: the Canadian band Simple Plan. The Montreal natives have been one of the most important bands in the genre worldwide since their formation in 1999. They have been chosen by The Offspring to open for them on this tour that will bring them to Madrid and Badalona. Hits like “I’m Just a Kid,” “Welcome To My Life,” and “I’d Do Anything” will warm up the atmosphere and the throats of tens of thousands of fans.
